As a Team Lead Backend at turfcoach, you won't just be developing code, you'll be steering our backend systems into the future. Join our international team and play a key role in creating scalable, secure backend services. Work closely with front-end designers and the team to improve our product and revolutionize sports turf management.
What you will do:
Develop and maintain robust back-end systems using Python for streamlined sports turf management processes.
Design and implement high-performance APIs, seamlessly connecting with various front-end systems and external services.
Orchestrate microservices infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Collaborate proactively with our diverse team, shaping system and functionality requirements.
Engage in creative problem-solving with the technical support team to address field challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with a focus on software development.
Proven experience as a backend developer with strong Python skills.
Track record of working with Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate scalable, reliable services.
Experience of designing, developing and deploying RESTful APIs.
Experience of working with databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Bonus: Experience of front-end technologies such as React and TypeScript.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional language skills a plus.
