GSIC Sports Innovation
Turfcoach was one of 10 winners of the International Sports Groundbreakers Challenge by Sport Singapore and GSIC powered by Microsoft. With its AI-based turf disease identification tool, turfcoach impressed a panel comprising sports industry professionals, representatives from organizations such as Microsoft, SportSG, FIFA, LaLiga, Real Madrid, Singapore Cycling Federation, ONE Championship, and Evolve MMA.
Southampton FC Future of Football Challenge
This challenge was a three-month deal-making sprint with Southampton FC for Web3 and sports tech scale-ups. Turfcoach was one of the 2 startups winning the main prize.
Sport + vitality and LaLiga challenge
The LaLiga Sustainability Challenge organised by Sports+Vitality in Breda, Netherlands. The challenge focused on areas such as energy consumption and mobility, generation of waste, water consumption, and sustainable (re)construction.
​World Football Summit
turfcoach was selected by the juries as best sports tech startup and received a prize in Sevilla in October 2023. The award celebrates the most promising and innovative startups which provide sports organisations with new innovative solutions to help them in their digital transitions and overall transformation.
European Sport Congress
Turfcoach won the 'Sport Innovation Award' for its groundbreaking solution to help reduce playing surface-related injuries. During the congress paper presentations, Dr. Kevin Krieger, representing turfcoach, introduced a novel assessment methodology for professional sports turf surfaces.
Meet LALIGA
The LaLiga AI Challenge organised by SportBoost in Madrid, Spain. Turfcoach was invited as a startup that applies Artificial Intelligence to Pitch Analytics. The event, known as MEET LALIGA, involved numerous personalities from the world of sports including athletes and LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION club executives, as well as experts in artificial intelligence from several football clubs.
Galicia Sportech Congress
Being the winners of Sportech Competition allowed us to get support of Galicia region in Spain and, hence, increase our presence in Spanish market.
Social Football Summit
The Social Football Summit 2023 is the prime sport event in Italy, where turfcoach was recognised with the second place amongst the most innovative start-up companies.
SPOBIS
turfcoach placed 2nd at the German Sports Sustainability Award presented by the German Football League. The added value to sustainability of turfcoach was evaluated against a large number of sustainability concepts in sport.

The "Sports Technology Award" is also known as the "Oscars of Sports" with turfcoach recognised as Best Start-Up 2024.
